Blockquotes

การใช้การแสดงคำพูดเพืออ้างอิง <blockquote> element นั้นสามารถใช้ได้หลากหลายแบบ แต่ที่สำคัญคือ การใช้เพื่อที่จะบอกว่า ข้อมูลที่แสดงใน webpage นั้นมาจากแหล่งที่มาอื่น ถ้าเราอยากได้เครื่องหมายคำพูดในลักษณะพิเศษ pull-quote ต่างๆกันไป เราต้องใช้ element อื่น เรามาดูตัวอย่างข้างล่างกัน

จากตัวอย่างเป็นการอ้างอิงมาจากที่อื่น ถ้าสังเกตดีๆจะเห็นว่า มีการย่อหน้าที่ข้อมูลการอ้างอิง

สรุป

• Blockquote element เป็นการอ้างอิงมาจากที่อื่น
• ไม่ควรใช้ pullquote กับ blockquote แต่ควรใช้กับ aside element แทน
• Blockquote เป็น block-level element
